Piran and surroundings

Parking is very limited in Piran. There are two garages: Fornače and the cheaper Arze. A free shuttle runs to both. For guests with a lot of luggage, I recommend calling the delivery service (Dostavko), which is free of charge.

Portorož is 3.5 km away, Fieso is 1.5 km away, Bernardin beach with a swimming pool is 2 km away.

Piran is also a good starting point for excursions. Nearby (75 km) is the world-famous Postojna Cave with the unique Predjam Castle and the Škocjan Cave (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (49 km). Trieste is only 33 km, Venice only 190 km. Ljubljana is 120 km away.
